Justin D. Hodson, CPI is the Vice President and Director of Surveillance at Gailey Associates, Inc., a professional private investigations firm based in Orange County, CA.
Mr. Hodson’s career in investigative services began in security, loss prevention and fraud investigation in the retail industry. As a result of his investigative acumen, drive and energy, he quickly accelerated through the ranks of various retail and corporate security positions into internal fraud and undercover surveillance operations. His skill as a fraud investigator and his prowess at directing and managing large undercover operations, earned him wide recognition as an expert in his field. Mr. Hodson entered private practice by founding his own private investigation company in Fullerton, California. His agency prospered as a direct result of the investigative and fact finding skills he had honed during his formative years in the industry.
Mr. Hodson is an active member and past Vice President for the California Association of Licensed Investigators. Mr. Hodson also serves as the Chairman of the Unlicensed Practices Committee for the association. The Committee investigates unlicensed activity in the private investigation industry. Mr. Hodson serves on the Advisory Board for Criminal Justice at ITT Technical Institute assisting the school format appropriate class structure and supply feedback for the school’s criminal justice program. He also has been a speaker on the University of California in Irvine, Criminal Justice Career Panel. On this panel he educated students on the criminal justice field and professional private investigations industry.
Mr. Hodson is a certified Expert Witness in Litigation and Trial Support from Cal State Fullerton. He is also a Certified Professional Investigator, a unique and highly sought after certification through the California Association of Licensed Investigators. There are fewer than one hundred Certified Professional Investigators in the United States.
In addition to his service the his industry, Mr. Hodson also is a member of the Fullerton Collaborative, an organization that is dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community. Mr. Hodson also regularly supports, participates and volunteers with the American Cancer Society and Orange County Ronald McDonald House.
